Stamp of style

DESIGNER OUTFITS are in and Chennai seems to be a favourite with the country's top fashion designers. Cashing in on the trend, designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna have unveiled their latest at Evoluzione.

The fabrics that are hot this season are self-developed knit, contemporary tweed, chiffon, fine corduroy and stretch linen wool. As for the look, it alternates between stylish and sophisticated elegance to retro chic.

The range at Evoluzione includes structured jackets, skirts, tops [some with deep necklines], suits for that formal look, pleated skirts, retro ruffles, fitted cardigans and shirts. Classy cuts and smart silhouettes mark the collection.

For embellishments, the duo have come up with some interesting stuff... leather appliqué, coin metal art, Aztec prints, hand painting and smocking. The colours range from chocolate brown, beige and charcoal grey to metallic pink, orange, deep purple and petrol blue.

Also available are accessories such as shell jewellery, bags and stoles, which have been designed to match the clothes.
