Sops for retailers

SHRILALMAHAL GROUP, a Delhi-based company, has recently introduced a Smart Card scheme for its distributors and retailers. All they have to do is to is to become a member of the scheme by purchasing the company's products worth Rs. 5,000. One shall earn `Star Points' on the purchase and get prizes in exchange of them collected over a period of six months or one year. The prize list has an impressive array including a two bedroom flat, cars, diamond jewellery, two wheelers, refrigerators besides other home appliances.

Giving reasons for introducing the scheme, the company says, it believes that its success lies in the success of its distributors and retailers and in the satisfaction of customers.

Last year, the company had introduced a similar scheme called Khazana for its distributors and retailers and gave away prizes like a house, cars, two-wheelers, cameras, refrigerators ,electronic items and even foreign trips to the winners. In total, 1780 retailers had participated in the scheme.
