It will be fun outing for more than a thousand children on October 16 thanks to The Rotaract Club of Vepery

IT WILL be `Kidz Day Out' on October 16 for 1,250 children from corporation schools and orphanages in the city.
The Rotaract Club of Vepery, a pro-active youth wing of the Rotary International, is celebrating the centenary year of the Rotary International Movement with a difference - by bringing cheer into the lives of these deprived children.
As for the kids, it will be a dream outing for them, a fun-filled day at the MGM Dizzee World!
The Rotaract Club, which began in 1994 at the Doveton Corrie School, Vepery, comprises youngsters in the age group 18 to 30 who are committed to social causes.
To mark the Rotary International Centenary, the club is also donating Rs. 75,000 to Vidyasagar (formerly Spastic Society of India) for development of infrastructure.
`Kidz Day Out' will begin with a bang at the Chettinad Vidyashram, what with several celebrities taking time off from their busy schedules to spend time with the children.
