10 things I hate about your car!

A NEWsurvey has done away with the age-old myth that big flashy cars, with ear-shattering engines and loud music a la Grease impress women.

The survey, conducted by Test Drive magazine, questioned 2,000 people on what car accessories they liked or hated the most and found that noisy exhausts topped the list, while noisy stereos were a close second.

Air conditioning as a car accessory was the voters' most wanted accessory.

The 10 most hated car accessories were:

* 1. Competition exhaust

* 2. Noisy stereo

* 3. Blacked-out windows

* 4. Beaded seat covers

* 5. Spoilers

* 6. Personalised sun strips

* 7. Soft toys on the

parcel shelf

* 8. England flag

* 9. Baby on Board stickers

* 10. Spotlights
