Have a bearing

Politicsin BCCIaresurely having their impact on the game. The former president of the BCCI Jagmohan Dalmia has created much hype about the post as a result of which the election to the post has become a prestigious issue for political parties. In the process, talented players are being denied entry into the team while the not so talented ones are finding a place in the team.
