NOT SO SPORTIVE POLITICS
Selfish ends
The continuing politics in the Indian cricket control board are damaging the game. The post of the BCCI chairman has turned into a focal point in the country and many political parties are competing with one another to secure the post. In the process, the people occupying the seat are interfering in the selection of players as a result of which the talented players are not getting an opportunity to play the game. The recentelection of the BCCI presidentis one such example showingthe immense interest of various political parties in having their own candidates for selfish ends.
