Music show

HE IS one of the popular playback singers of Bollywood, who in the recent times has given hits such as "Badi mushkil hai" (Anjam), "Baadshah o Baadshah" (Badshah), "Iam the best" (Badshah), "Tum dil ki dhadkan mein rahte ho" (Dhadkan) and "Aap mujhe acche lagne lage" (Aap mujhe acche lagne lage). Abhijeet started his career in the Hindi film industry in 1982 with the film "Anand aur Anand", which had music by R.D. Burman. He struggled his way up, and today is considered a perfect voice for the top star of the industry, Shah Rukh Khan (including the latest film "Main Hoon Na"). Besides Hindi, Abhijeet is a well-known singer in Bengali films. He has also rendered a few numbers in Tamil.

Abhijeet will be performing in the city for the first time on October 29 at the Music Academy. The programme is organised by Madras Round Table 10 to raise funds to construct classrooms at Valluvar Gurukulam in Tambaram.

Donor passes are available at Landmark, Shree Mithai, New Yorkers, Lifestyle, Pizza Hut (Nungambakkam), Sukh Sagar (Anna Nagar) and Gangotree.
