A Governor's interest

S. MUTHIAH

TWO PROJECTS the former Governor of Tamil Nadu, P.S. Ramamohan Rao, took a great deal of interest in were the model restoration of Senate House on the University of the Madras campus, and Raj Bhavan.

He was also trying to get alumni, like him, of Presidency College to help get restoration work started there too.

I trust the new Governor will show the same enthusiasm for the two first-named projects, and through his wholehearted support, ensure they are completed expeditiously and in model fashion according to the plans drawn up by the respective advisory committee supervising the work.
