West Indian Everton Weekes (779 runs from five Tests in 1948-49) holds the record for scoring the most number of runs in a series in India for any visiting batsman. He is also the only batsman to score four hundreds in a series in India.


West Indian fast bowler Malcolm Marshall (33 wickets from six Tests in 1983-84) holds the record for most number of wickets in a series in India for any visiting bowler.
