Kaushik comes calling

BOLLYWOOD director Satish Kaushik visited University of Media Arts, Noida this past week. The director of successful films like Tere Naam, Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Kaushik shared his views with the Vice Chancellor of the University, Sandeep Marwah insisting on keeping the degree level teaching of cinema and mass communication going. He said: "The teaching of cinema and mass communication is necessary to remain in touch with today's real world."

Satish was recently in the Capital to shoot for Boney Kapoor's forthcoming film Milenge Milenge, starring Kareena and Shahid Kapoor. Kaushik , who started his career from Delhi theatre, has also been closely associated with the Asian School of Media Studies as well as Asian Academy of Film and TV of the University, often taking time out to visit the campus.
