A musical presentation tracing the evolution of music and fashion in films will be the highlight of Flashback, a fund-raiser for the Cancer Institute

FRIENDS OF Cancer Institute is organising a programme titled "Flashback" in aid of the Cancer Institute, Adyar, on November 28, 6 p.m. at the Music Academy.
It will be a musical theatre presentation tracing the evolution of music and fashion in Tamil cinema over the past five decades.
The cast includes TV artistes Vijay Athiraj, Shyam Ganesh, OAK Sundar, Priyadarshini and Divyadarshini and college students. The programme will be interspersed with popular songs in Hindi and Tamil, which will be rendered by Srinivas, Karthik, Pop Shalini, Mathangi, Magathi and Mahanadi Shobana.
Donor passes are priced at Rs. 1,000, Rs. 500, Rs. 300, Rs. 250, Rs. 200 and Rs. 100. The proceeds of the show will go towards treating the needy cancer patients.
