Sushant Singh and Nandita Das in "Heads ya Tails?"
THE MADRAS Sterling Round Table 123 and Rotary Club of Madras Downtown are presenting "Heads ya tails?", a Hindi play on December 4, 7.30 p.m., at the Kamaraj Arangam, Teynampet.
Starring film personalities Nandita Das and Sushant Singh, the play explores the complexities of marriage in the present day. It deals with the questions that confront the upwardly mobile middle class and their dilemmas. Written by Prashant Dalvi, the play is directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni.
The proceeds of the show will go towards `Freedom through Education', a project funded by the Round Table. Over 500 school buildings to the tune of Rs. 42 crores have been constructed over the last five years, benefiting nearly 3 lakh children. The project in partnership with the Round Table Netherlands, and supported by the State governments, is designed to provide infrastructure in primary schools throughout the country. The Round Table India plans to reach out to one million children by the year 2008.
