Lenslight

ONE MORE cinematographer has been bitten by the directorial bug and it is none other than K. V. Anand who began as a photojournalist. Anand who is known for his inventive camerawork in films such as "Muthalvan", "Legend of Bhagath Singh", "Khakee" and the recent "Chellamay", has turned director with "Kanaa Kandein" featuring Srikanth, Gopika and Malayalam actor Pritviraj. (Pritviraj is making his debut in Tamil in a negative role.) This racy romantic thriller is being produced by P. L. Thenappan and has music by Vidyasagar. Anand says he is following his "instinct" by sacrificing two films "Swades" and "Anniyan" as cameraman to realise his dream.
