Remake Raja

"JAYAM" RAVI, the young star of Tamil cinema, is starting work on his latest film "Mazhai", produced by S. P. Balasubramaniam.

Like Ravi's two earlier hits, "Mazhai" too is a remake from "Varsham" that Telugu blockbuster which catapulted its lead pair Prabhas and Trisha to fame. In "Mazhai", Ravi has a tailor-made role of an action hero. The romantic angle is provided by Shriya. Devi Sri Prasad whose songs in "Varsham" were chartbusters has scored the music. Ravi believes what had worked in Telugu should work wonders for him in Tamil too, with minor changes. Nobody is willing to argue with him after seeing the box-office success of "Jayam" and "M. Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi".
