VIJAY IS a happy man as it has been a fantastic year for him. And now producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu has managed to get top model-turned-actress Bipasha Basu and Genelia of "Boys" fame to play the heroines in his new film "Sachin" to be directed by debutant John Mahendran, son of veteran director Mahendran. In "Sachin", Vijay is a fan of Sachin Tendulkar and the film has nothing to do with the willow game. However, the film like Vijay's earlier "Gilli" and "Madurae" has a great title value. Jeeva is the cameraman of this racy entertainer which has some foot-tapping music by Devi Sri Prasad, popular Telugu music director.
Says Thanu: "`Sachin' is going to be a rip-roaring entertainer with the tag-line `The miracle of love'. We are planning to release the film on Tamil New Year Day."
