This time, "Kaante" fame Sanjay Gupta's "Musafir" is a take-off on Oliver Stone's 1997 erotic thriller "U Turn", featuring Sean Penn, Jennifer Lopez and Nick Nolte. It stars Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sameera Reddy and a new girl Koena Mitra. The theme of all Sanjay Gupta movies is the same. The films follow the formula of glamour, vengeance and murder with item numbers becoming the highlight and the hero turning out to be the villain!
