A wild date

IT'S BILLED an invitation to "walk on the wild side". Kingfisher's swimsuit calendar, that Pirelli wannabe, is out in its third edition for 2005. This year's calendar promises to be wilder, shot as it is against the backdrop of South African game reserves.

It features upcoming designers such as Surily Goel, Namrata Joshipura, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, Seema Khan, Ranna Gill, Deepika Govind, Varun Bahl, Pankaj Ahuja, and others, with a cover by Rocky S.

Models Yana Gupta, Pia Trivedi and Sheetal Menon have posed for it as well as new international faces of Indian origin such as Asha Leo from London and Cindy Burbridge from Thailand. The photographs were shot by Atul Kasbekar.
