The new male audience

EARLY THIS year, research indicated that male viewers of TV, specially those who watch late night shows, comprise a huge untapped market. As usual, Ekta Kapoor has taken the early bird advantage by coming out with "K-Street Pali Hill" (STAR Plus, 11.30 p.m.) which is a thriller featuring theatre personalities Vikram Kapadia, Aly Khan and Ritu Raj. It is about three buddies who live in a bungalow, where a series of mysterious incidents take place. It is the first Balaji teleserial without a female protagonist and is popular with the college-going guys.
