WITH CHRISTMAS and New Year just around the corner, The Residency is all set to join the fun. At Baker's Corner, a special counter will offer you a host of Christmas delights like plum puddings, yule logs, plum cakes, rum chocolate cakes, mousse cakes and fruit baskets.
The hotel will organise a Children's Carnival on December 23 at the Ballroom from 12 noon to 8 p.m. with games, dance, a magic show and talent show. Fast foods items, candyfloss and ice cream will be availableand attractive gifts given away to the children.
The Christmas eve dinner and Christmas day lunch buffet will be available at The Pavilion, the multi-cuisine restaurant. The buffet spread will have all traditional Christmas dishes like roast turkey with cranberry sauce, dark chocolate eve gateaux, plum pudding, biriyanis, dakshini era curry and Hyderabadi special haleem.
A New Year special lunch buffet will be organised on January 1 between 12.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. The rates are Rs. 350 for adults and Rs. 200 for children, inclusive of taxes. On New Year's eve, Chin Chin, the Chinese restaurant will host a special buffet dinner, while Afghan's Grill, the poolside barbecue restaurant, will offer kebabs and biriyanis on the night of December 31.
A New Year ball, `One Night in Bangkok', is also on the same night at the Ballroom.
