HYDERABAD-BASED designer Sashikant Naidu has showcased some of his creations at 7 the Lounge. Naidu has a passion for hand-woven fabrics, especially cotton calling it "the fabric with life." It's classic, it's contemporary, it breathes, he says.
Naidu makes clothes that are innovative yet practical, and strikes a balance between style and comfort. He works on fabrics that are distinctive in terms of yarn, dye and design. Naidu has designed costumes for the film "Morning Raaga" as also the award-winning dress for the Grasim South Zone finalist, making it to the future 50 designers in the Femina Book Of Fashion. He was also selected for the DSYN-04 Show.
His collection is being showcased till January 7, at 7 the Lounge, 7 Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam.
