Take a holistic view
This is with reference to the article "Contours of complexity" (November 25). Millions of life particles, seeking to grow, age and regenerate, move or drive men. But the hidden truth is: women are the drivers. The time has come for our species to understand this holism. In a consumerist era, the minimum existential agenda framed by MNCs makes life a boring merry-go-round. Strangely enough, the consumer is an androgynous entity, though the companies find it impossible to advertise any product without sexism. We need to fight hard, together as friends, to retain some sanity. The severity of female anger needs to be re-focussed. Friendship should stop polarising the masculine and look at the total picture. Oppression is definitely gender-specific but the irony is the oppressed seem to have no gender, since every being on this planet is oppressed. Allowing one's oppression to intellectualise the status quo won't yield any result. If our souls seek some kind of a result (harmony?)!
