Time for change

Khushdeep Bansal.

THE GOOD times are here. Don't believe us, believe Vastu expert Khushdeep Bansal, a qualified engineer now busy giving shape to the future. Clean-shaven, curly haired and clad in a check kurta, he maps out the New Year, "It will bring change, regularisation and benefits in the field of media, art and science. Economically things will be better. It will be good for the Government. And a very good year for the cosmetic industry," he casts his net of predictions on rose petals.

But the good will come with the bad, and not everything will be smooth for everybody. "It will not be so good for the people who are metal professionals, people who are dealing in edible oils." Then comes a warning, "There will be two disasters in the Dakshin Bharat."

Tsunami was inevitable

Speaking on the recent Tsunami disaster, he says, "Nobody believes that there are certain

earth energies which change their shape and get hyperactive after every 20 years. The result is what we have seen and paid such a big price. Then there are other areas where the earth generates energy to nullify any quake. For instance, in Mehrauli there is an earthquake prevention area and there are certain quake puncture zones near the Ashoka Pillar at the Qutub Minar. It has its own scientific relevance. The Qutub Minar has a certain synchronisation with earth energies, which are stopping its fall till date. In pracheen bharat it was called `bhoomimarambhedan'."

Bansal reiterates Vastu is an independent art and has its own importance. It is just like yoga and Ayurveda. He advises youngsters to feel the effect of Vastu in everyday life. He should know. After all, he spent three years in a gurukul. Here is hoping Vastu emits just the right energy for all of us, and that there are more earthquake prevention zones than the experts have been able to locate so far.
