Take over aging

Latika Abbot, Managing Director, Formula 6.

ANTI-AGING formula is such a competitive slot in today's cosmetic industry that it can make or mar a company. Consumers willing to conquer age and look good are ready to pay as much for favourable results. With such a market in waiting, some brands are offering herbal no-chemical treatments, some others imported "full-proof" formulae, while a few others are promising to arrest aging of your skin in a few sittings of laser treatment.

In the crowd of such products and companies enters Delhi-based Somdatt Group, better known as Somdatt Builders. With an array of skincare products.

"We were in fact the pioneers in introducing cosmetic laser treatment in India. We launched The American Cosmetic Laser Center in Delhi in 2000 by importing the latest laser technology from that country," claims Latika Abbot, Managing Director of the Formula 6, the brand launched by the Group. Today, the Center, she adds, "has a client base of over 25,000 people to avail of the researched and tested skincare formulations from different sources around the world." Forming thus the Winners Laboratory. To roll out skincare products.

Calling the company roll-outs cosmeceuticals, she goes on naming her products like Liquid Gold Serum, Face-lift in a Bottle, Oxygen Moisturiser, Glow-face wash and Soap-free Cleansing Milk - "all to keep age out of bay and to look radiant and younger."

"We have launched this basket of five products with an initial investment of Rs.100 million. In coming days, we have a plan of multiplying the investment by three times to launch yet another basket of products," Abbot adds.
