Nag as Bhaktha Ramdas?

DIRECTOR K. Raghavendra Rao who made the musical hit Annamayya is all set to recreate another devotional poem on celluloid based on the life of saint poet Bhaktha Ramdas. J.K. Bharavi who provided the story and dialogue for Annamayya is already on the job and so is music director M.M. Keeravani. The shooting is tentatively scheduled for June but the million-dollar question is will Nagarjuna once again transform himself into a saint poet, especially after the macho image he acquired after Sivamani and Mass. But Raghavendra Rao is confident, hope his confidence pays off.

G. MANJULA KUMAR
