Bees Saal Baad!

"BEES SAAL Baad" is the name of an all-time favourite Hindi film of the 1960s, which has become an expression by itself. Ekta Kapoor has given her popular soap "Kasauti Zindagi Ki" (Star Plus) the "Bees Saal Baad" makeover which means that the serial fast forwards by 20 years into the future. Suddenly, a lot of things in the serial will change and Ekta knows that it will work wonders with the TRPs. She had only recently put "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" (Star Plus) on the fast forward mode which helped the serial garner record TRPs. Says Ekta: "The story of `Kasauti' is going for a big twist and now it will shift to the new generation on a college campus."
