Taste it!
THIS VALENTINE'S Day there is a proposal to organise a dance floor at Taste of India in Noida's Centre-stage Mall. The dance may not be according to the taste of India, but the cuisine is. It takes care of the all the cultures of India. And your pocket too.
From Amritsari kulcha to Malabar parantha, most of the things are available on demand and do not burn a hole in your pocket. For young people juices and shakes are unparalleled, especially the mango shake. It is smooth and yummy, just the way it should be. Kids enjoy sitting on a single long dinning chair. For adults, there is a provision of sofa. It is a boon for middle class families, the noise is such that as if you are sitting on the roadside. And music seeks to float above the din!
The ambience is comfortable but when you are all alone sitting on a chair every second person will come and ask, "Can I take this chair?" And within minutes you find yourself sitting on a table for two with a single chair!
But when the food arrives, it more than makes up. The dosa is not bad. But Malabar parantha, lachhedar as it is, is a delight. Kulche, hot and steaming, support it very well. And the sweet dish of jalebi with rabri is not a bad way to round off.
Arun Rao, Manager of Taste Of India, Noida feels, "Everyone feels at home here, we have arranged seats according to different age groups. It's like a dinning hall with people of different kind." So next time you go to Wave for a date with Bollywood, make sure to keep some time for a taste of India at this lively eatery.
