It takes two to tango

What is it that a woman wants from her man?

NEHA COMES back from work to find Abhay cooking pasta! He, while making the sauce, says, "Honey, freshen up. Dinner will be ready in 10 minutes." she is too much in a daze to protest. In between drying her hair it strikes her. She catapults into action. She upturns the bed, looks under it, and rummages through the cupboards but in vain. She can't find it! He comes in and asks her what's she looking for but she changes the subject.

Lot of women are bound to find the above instance of the husband cooking, a fantasy! ! Womenfolk don't expect well-cooked dishes and a clean counter together (although it would have been icing on the cake). Unlike men who want an ad model for a wife/girlfriend, women prefer a caring and considerate man to a Greek god incarnation. Women being more sensitive than men take into account all the small gestures and are often found to cherish the small and sweet memories more than larger ones.

Love is...

Here are few instances of these. When you walk behind her in a crowd with your hand at her back, guiding her forward it shows you are protective of her (she feels priceless!). Like when you introduce her to your friends and they tell her that you can't stop talking about her it shows how you can't get her out of your mind! (She is so flattered). Or how she's able to wake you up without a second thought after experiencing a nightmare it shows how much she trusts you and knows that you'll always be there to comfort her! And best of all, (a personal favourite), when you listen to her talk about her other guy friends and how, when she goes a tad overboard in all the excitement, she gets a sneak peek at that slightly jealous boyfriend lurking beneath the surface. This possessiveness shows that you consider her yours, only yours patented for.

Well ladies, such rare species, on the verge of extinction, is pure luck. And that's living the dream relationship. One without fights, where both are full time in the lovey-dovey state. It's too boring. How can people bear each other in the same emotional euphoria for the rest of their lives? Fights and arguments are the things that spice up a person's life. Making up deepens the relationship. So fight, make up and enjoy your relationship.

Try this

Well, coming back to Neha and Abhay, this is what happened. They sit down for dinner. He has all the works, the soft lighting, candlelit table, flowers (he never brings flowers, what's going on?) and of course the great pasta he's made (that's the only thing he knows to make!). He drops a spoon halfway through dinner and asks her to pick it up. She's perplexed but then you just have to humour them sigh! She bends to find a brightly wrapped package sitting under the table. She picks it up and looks at him. He says nonchalantly, "Well, if not a spoon at least this. Open it." she unwraps it to find a jewellery box and in it the most exquisitely crafted platinum pendant. She looks up teary and he says, "Hey! Don't get teary on me! Oh my, if this is the case what'll you do when you open the one under your chair"? Well, girls hoping this is what your love does for you but knows for sure he won't get such a brilliant idea ask him to read this. Happy Valentine's Day! Have a blast!
