Antonioni retrospective

THE INDO Cine Appreciation Foundation in association with the National Film Archives of India, Pune is organising a film festival — Retrospective of Michelangelo Antonioni at the South Indian Film Chamber Theatre from February 24 to 26. Three films will be screened — "L'avventura" (February 24, 6.15 p.m.), "La notte" (February 25, 6.30 p.m.) and "Red Desert" (February 26, 6.30 p.m).

Antonioni is known for his unique cinematographic style with haunting images of human isolation.

In 1994, he received a special Academy Award for his contribution to cinema.
