AT THE Promenade Coffee Shop at the Aditya Park Inn, taste buds and tummies take a journey of delicious proportions. With many blocks of cuisine to sample, you'll melt all over the Italian dishes being served as part of the `The Taste of Europe Festival.'
If you've watched The Godfather or any other flick directed by the lot who spent their childhood in Little Italy, you'll know that food on the table is central to any Italian festival or family. So, Executive Chef Harmeet serves up staples like the Antipasto Piccolo Roma, a combination plate of tomatoes, where the tomatoes are fresh and not canned, mozzarella cheese, mushroom, artichoke and olives in virgin olive oil.
The second choice is fresh, luscious Scallop cocktail served with pink mayonnaise and topped with Danish caviar and egg slices.
Chef also serves Argentine meat enticingly grilled with a choice of peppercorn or mushroom. Along with fresh vegetables from the Royal Project, typical herbs such as basil, sage and parsley have also been used. Salads include the Salad Raclette with Parmesan cheese and the Artichoke Salad or Green Mixed Salad served with vinaigrette.
You can also count on fresh Fettuccine, Ravioli, Cannelloni, Rotellini and Gnoccehitti for some unusual pasta.
The festival is on till February 27. For reservation call 5578 8888 (Extn: 51).
