Fun and Food at Nirula's
THALI HAS been a traditional way of serving meals in the usual Indian restaurants. The traditional thali system is quite popular across the states as one gets more than one type of curries and food at once on a platter.
Taking this concept further, Nirula's has launched "the executive thali" in its Vasant Kunj outlet the other day. The new vegetarian executive thali costs Rs.46 and the non-vegetarian thali is for Rs.55.The vegetarian thali combo offers rice, roti, salad and raita with two types of curries. These curries are replaced with chicken curry and butter chicken in the non vegetarian thali. Also, these thalis can be ordered from every Nirula's outlet on free home delivery service.
"These thalis have been especially made for working professionals looking for affordable meals," " says a company spokesperson. Launched in the Vasant Kunj outlet "on an experimental basis", he says "the result is favourable and so we have now introduced it in all the outlets." Also to complete your meal, Nirula's has come up with a new ice cream flavour this March as a part of its ongoing exercise - `the flavour of the month.' The flavour this month is Thandai Ice cream. The ice cream has almonds, rose petals, cardamom, black pepper and watermelon seeds.
