A question of rights

EVEN AS the shooting for Rajnikanth's Chandramukhi is in full swing, here comes the news of Apthamitra being dubbed into Telugu. Irony is that the remake rights of Apthamithra were already bought by Lakshmi Narasimha Productions and SRS Films and it is being produced in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously with Nayantara and Jyothika as heroines while Prabhu is doing another important role. However, the buzz is that the producers want to release the dubbed version as it has late Soundarya portraying the central character. Apthamitra is doing great business at Kannada box-office and hence the rush.
