Boon in disguise

IT WAS actually an insult heaped upon Lawrence that prompted him to take up direction. Basking in the success of Mass... Lawrence now looks back and feels that if it was not for a director who apparently insulted him, he wouldn't have become a successful director now.

It all started with Lawrence giving an idea to that particular director while he was choreographing a dance sequence and was curtly told to mind his own business in front of the entire crew. This made Lawrence work very hard on scripts and finally came out with one, which was encouraged by Nagarjuna and the rest is history. Now, Lawrence is working on another script in which he proposes to act as well as direct it.
