TRISHA IS believed to be the highest paid star in the Telugu industry now. The grapevine has it that after Varhsam and the latest Nuvvu Vosthanante Ne Vodhantana, she has raised her remuneration considerably. However, this has not affected the producers a wee bit as they continue to form a beeline to sign her on as she has the capacity to draw huge crowds to theatres. This conviction is further deepened with her success in the Tamil industry too.
Unsure whether she is the highest paid in the industry, Trisha says that producers accept whatever she quotes and if it is highest in the industry, then it should be treated as a compliment because it is an indication that producers do not perceive her as just a beautiful face but a face that can emote beautifully. Well, that's a logical reasoning, Trisha.
