HERE IS some good news for all amateur musicians. KK events, Chennai based event management company, are coming out with `Muso Fest', a South Indian music competition across major cities of Tamil Nadu.
The competition will be conducted in three categories — Solo Singers, Instruments and Bands. Participants will be classified into five categories that include schools, professional colleges, arts colleges, general public and corporates. The winner will get a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh and an opportunity to feature in KK's musical album. Participants can sing in Tamil, Hindi or English.
The preliminary rounds will be conducted in important cities of Tamil Nadu and the finals will take place in Chennai. Last date for entries in schools category is March 31. For colleges (arts), the date is April 10. For professional colleges and the public category, the last dates are April 5 and April 20 respectively. For corporates, the last date is May 5.
