Once more, please...

ENTERTAINMENT UNLIMITED. When you team up Udaya Bhanu and Venu Madhav to anchor a show, it sure is going to be a double barrel attack.

A quick witted Venu Madhav matches Udaya Bhanu word for word and action for action and in the process, the duo has made Once More Please one of the most watched shows on Gemini.

The talent show provides a platform for youngsters to showcase their talent in magic, mimicry, ventriloquism and so on. The long-running show turns funnier particularly when mimicry artistes take on popular film personalities and political leaders. Venu Madhav intersperses the show with witty comments, sharp responses, jokes and imitation that turns Once More Please into an out-and-out fun show.

On the highway of fun

SHIFT GEARS of humour and hit the highway of entertainment. Driving you along would be Somaraju and his assistant, Guruswamy.

Reverse Gear on Maa TV is a road show that has a truck driver played by Somaraju and his assistant unleashing humorous situations on different locations. It is a show that presents popular film numbers but with a difference.

They are mixed, remixed, and, at times, sung, as the title of the show indicates, in the reverse!

Riding a truck, the anchors zoom into college campuses, town centres, government offices and public places, and fun begins when they screech to a halt.

Ankuram is another show that features voluntary bodies working in the State and their activities while Special Correspondent offers new insights into the issues that have wider ramifications on the society.
