Promoting designer wear

Top-notch designers to showcase their work in the city


COLLAGE, A leading outlet for designer clothes and lifestyle accessories in Chennai, is organising a promotion of designer kurtis, skirts, trousers and sarees in Coimbatore on April 1 and 2 at the Coimbatore Club.

Participating designers include Raghavendra Rathore, Varsha Mahendra, Sonya Khan and Meera and Muzaffar Ali and the house of Bandhej from Ahmedabad.


Hyderabad-based Varsha is bringing in Kalamkaris in Indian and Indo-Western wear, while Sonya from Mumbai is showing her collection of in-house Chanderi works. Raghavendra Rathore from Jaipur presents a collection of skirts, kurtis and tunics. The Ali couple are introducing their line of clothing — Kotwara.
