Inspirational tale

GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS do come from humble beginnings. The story of Vijayaraman (Unsung Hero, March 29) is a classic example. This artist may scale glorious heights in his endeavour and stand as an inspiring force for millions. Hope to see more articles of the kind.

Eye opener

THE ARTICLE Silence of the lambs (March 23) in the Animal Talk was shocking. I am an animal lover and was shocked to know that slaughterhouses do not follow rules. I hope such articles serve as an eye opener to the people and the government. The article Let's party in the Etiquette and Protocol column was very helpful with its suggestions on how one should behave at an office party.

Fitting the pocket

THE METRO PLUS has a surfeit of articles on eats and eateries, some of which an average reader can ill afford. It would be good if you carried articles about the life of push cart vendors and how they struggle to make ends meet.
