Winners take it all

THE CRICNIZANT trophy cricket tournament played at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai saw Cognizant Hyderabad emerge as the winner. In the final, the Hyderabad team defeated Cognizant Chennai (B) team by three wickets in a well-contested match. Teams from five cities took part in the tournament.

International cricketer Hemang Badani inaugurated the two-day final match and former Test cricketer G.R. Vishwanth, presented the trophies at the end. The Man of the Match (Finals) went to R. Nishanth of Cognizant Hyderabad, and the Best Player of the Tournament was awarded to Praveen of Hyderabad for his all-round performance.

Presenting the awards, Vishwanth praised the talent, spirit and hard work of the players and said, "I heard Hyderabad players took this match really seriously. They worked hard and deserved to be here. This is commendable."
