Vishu offerings

Traditionally, Vishu-April 14 is the best time to release films in Kerala. This year there are three films -- Mohanlal's "Chandrolsavam", Dileep's "Kochi Rajavu" and Jayaram's "Alice in Wonderland". All the three are commercial entertainers and allhave music by Vidyasagar. In "Chandrolsavam", Mohanlal plays Srihari, a musician who is a happy-go-lucky man spreading happiness wherever he goes. It is directed by Ranjith who has made some memorable films such as "Nandanam". The film is said to be inspired by the Rajesh Khanna classic "Anand" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Kal Ho Naa Ho". Meena is the heroine, while Kushboo makes a cameo appearance.
