Lata in a new role

SHE IS called India's nightingale and her voice has charmed people for decades. That's none other than the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Now the lady with the golden voice dons the role of a designer. That's right, she has collaborated with the Adora Diamond jewellery to bring out the Swaranjali collection.

"Jewellery has always held a fascination for me. So, designing diamond jewellery has been a long-standing passion. Each art form tells a story and I have tried to recreate some of these forms in Swaranjali. The collection is an acknowledgement of the love and support my fans have reposed in me all these years," says the singer. The collection is available at select jewellery stores in the city.
