MODEL FACTORY: Models are made at the Dreeam Cast School of Entertainment
If you are one of those aspiring to make it big in the film industry or in the world of modelling, here is a gem of an opportunity. Dreeam Cast, a model management firm in Alwarpet, Chennai, which has been instrumental in introducing many new faces to filmdom, will be conducting workshops on modelling, deejaying and acting from April 30 to May 16.
While ace fashion choreographer Gautam Pavate will conduct the modelling workshop, DJs Wayne, Ravee and Tuhin will teach participants how to be a successful DJ. The workshop on acting essentials by S. Krishna Kumar of Masquerade, the Chennai-based English theatre group, will help participants learn to use their body and voice effectively. The modelling workshop will focus on catwalk, choreography, portfolio presentation, posing for a camera, facial expressions, make-up and social etiquette among other things.
This will be for two age groups — 4-14 and above 14 years.
The deejaying workshop will educate participants how to handle CD players and microphones, besides preparing them to handle a crowd.
There will be guest lectures by professionals in the field.
