Spinning magic

BEAUTY A model-turned actor's tips on staying healthy

BEAUTY MATTERS: Guzzle water, says Mahima Photo: D. Gopalakrishnan

She won over hearts with that oh-so-perfect smile not forgetting the warm aura about her in Pardes.

And continues to spin the magic. Mahima Choudhary's latest flick Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye released recently.

She shares the beauty mantra that has worked wonders for her all through despite harsh floodlights, outdoor shoots — rains, scorching sun et al, and finally long work schedules and jet lags.

Water water: Drink lots of water. It does wonders to your skin.

Eat healthy: Sab kuch meetha ho is not necessary. No no to spicy food.

Go nutty: Nuts are very good for skin. Ditto for fresh fruits.

Sleep tight: Good rest is very important. When rested you look better.

Skin cover: Foundation/sun screen layer must, more so when there is so much pollution around.

Genes finally: It also has to be genetic (my mother has a beautiful complexion).
