Back with KBC-2
Come August 2, and the all-time favourite game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC), will be back on Star Plus. And of course, Big B, the original anchor of the show, will host it.
Says Amitabh Bachchan: "My film commitments will keep me busy till July. From August 1, I have given dates to KBC for the new episodes." Bachchan is committed to doing 85 episodes of KBC-2, which will be telecast at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays. The basic format will remain the same with some value additions such as SMS-ing the answers. The viewer who accumulates the highest points gets the seat on KBC-2. In its new avatar, there is also a `play along' option where the viewer stands to win Rs. One lakh and more in every episode. And the prize money for the winner of KBC-2 has doubled as it goes up to a whopping Rs. 2 crores!
