Three steps to beauty

A good skin care regimen is neither complicated nor laborious. A quick 1,2,3 step is a great start.

This includes a twice daily cleansing, toning and moisturising.

Step 1 — Cleansing

First, splash your face with warm water to open the pores. Use a liquid, cream or foam cleanser. Apply your cleansing product to the skin in gentle upward strokes; gently massage your face to remove dirt and make-up, rinsing with warm water for several minutes. Do not use soaps as they can be drying and clog pores.

Step 2 — Tone

After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad in cold water and gently rub over your face and cheeks in clockwise movements and neck in upward movements. This will remove the traces of cleanser and close pores.

Step 3 — Moisturising

All skin types need a moisturiser everyday.

If you have an oily skin, you should choose an oil control moisturiser.

You may also wish to choose different moisturisers for the face and body.

For those cold wintry days, when your skin feels stretched and dry, choose a specially formulated cold cream.

Moisturiser should be applied to the face in upward strokes and over the rest of the body in gentle strokes.
