Animation contest
Visualisers and animation experts in town, unite
On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of SS Music, SAE and SS Music are holding a competition for animation students, visualisers and fine arts students. Entries can be sent under two categories: Music Identities; Character Design. The entries can be made in 2D Animation, 3D Animation or in sketches.
The final formats are to be sent into SS Music offices as DV Tapes, Beta Tapes, Mpeg2 format, Mpeg4 format or storyboard. Entries can be in six languages: Hindi, Tamil, English, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. There will be three winners per category chosen by an eminent panel of judges organised by the SAE. Entries have to be in by April 30. The winner's work will be screened on SS Music during the entire month of May. The contest is open to participants in the age group of 18 to 22 years studying animation at college level or in special courses.
