Shah of Blah


The badshah of blah is back in Chennai. On April 22, Shekhar Suman will regale audiences with his wisecracks at Kamaraj Memorial Hall.

The show is being organised by South Chakra, a Hindi weekly, to coincide with its 10th anniversary. The programme will be managed by Events.

Fun and flora

The Madras Crafts Foundation is organising two summer camps at Dakshinachitra on April 23 and 24 and May 7 and 8.

The residential camp, which is open to children in the age group of 8-13 will focus on the theme of "Fun, forest and flora".

The camp will include workshops on ornamental mural works, folk dance and adventurous game sessions, besides mini trekking, herbal walk and an interface with the Irular tribe. The fee is Rs. 900. For details call 98414-20149/ 98414-23149.
