SCARY MOVIE A still from "The Boogey Man"

Subhash Chandra Bose (Telugu)

After the success of Sankranti, Victory Venkatesh now goes back in time to take on the British as Subhash Chandra Bose. The film, with a single schedule in Kurnool, has nothing to do with the freedom fighter (Shyam Benegal has made a film on him). The main character is called Chandram and he calls himself Subhash Chandra Bose. Directed by K. Raghvendra Rao, the expectations are naturally super high.

Waqt (Hindi)

Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and director Vipul Amritlal Shah come together after Aankhen for Waqt, which is supposed to be a weepie about the father-son relationship. With a prestigious pedigree (remember the 1965 Yash Chopra blockbuster which set the template for Chopra films with melodious music, a super star-cast and an aspirational lifestyle), the film like Aankhen is based on a Gujarati play. After Khakhee and Rishety, the Amitabh, Akshay pair is hot while Akshay and Priyanka Chopra heated up the screen in Aitraaz.

tHe BoogeymaN (English)

A bogeyman is something that we were scared of as children - convinced that he is waiting under the bed or behind the door. One usually outgrows such fears or just replaces them with fears of the dentist or boss. However what happens if the bogeyman decides to follow you to adulthood? That is what Stephen T Kay's movie explores. If you are in the mood to be scared out of your wits, you could make a date with the bogeyman.
