LEISURELY CRUISE: Taking in the sights of Kerala's backwaters
What better a way to spend the sizzling summer than to cool off at a lake resort.
That's what members of Coimbatore Cosmo Junior Chamber are doing.
They have organised a two nights three day stay in the Kerala backwaters on a house boat and in the Coir Village Lake Resort, Alleppey from May 27-29.
A tourist's fantasy, kettuvallams (houseboats) provide a relaxed ambience for a comfortable living afloat the backwaters.
Take in the sights and leave back the tensions of city life as they gently cruise along the green waters.
As you bob along, savour mouth-watering coastal cuisine.
The trip will cost a family Rs. 6,500 inclusive of travel, accommodation and food.
For registration, call 98422-44119 or98430-10697.
