So, what's the tune, Bubbly

`Oye Bubbly' is the latest cheer anthem on college campuses

If you are a sincere Indian cricket fan, this is the right time to learn the `bubbly' grind. The catch-line from a new cola commercial is going beyond selling a few bottles more. An entire song was composed to commemorate the India-Pakistan cricket series, accompanied by a music video featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta and half the Indian cricket squad, including Sachin `little man' Tendulkar, while the commercial features part of the video where the Big B emerges onto the field and does the `bubbly grind' with the team. Now, what exactly is the `bubbly grind'?

Bubbly grind

Oye bubbly is the latest cheer anthem, which is catching on among the teen crowd across college campuses, and the dance steps featured in the cola commercial is the `bubbly grind'. Picture this, a 15-something's mobile phone rings to the `bubbly' tune (the download of the ringtone is freely available by messaging pyaas to 8243), as she is sipping on the `bubbly' cool drink.

What is more, `bubbly' is the latest buzzword to refer to your girlfriend. Don't be surprised if you overhear somebody asking, `Hey bubbly, care for some coffee in the evening?'

The `bubbly' grind is composed by Vishal Shekhar and sung by Sudesh Bhosle. The song is an energetic, uplifting number, which makes you shake your legs instantly.

The album Oye Bubbly features nine more feel-good tracks, including popular film and Indipop numbers.
