Kian has introduced a range of Malaysian furniture in the city

Style for interiors: Furniture for your bedroom
Kian is now in Chennai, thanks to Ikian. The former sells furniture in Malaysia and the latter in India. A few years ago, Ikian enabled Kian to set up shop in Bangalore and Mumbai. Recently, Kian extended its operations to Chennai. Kian will retail in the city its range of residential and contract furniture.
Through its furniture, Kian promises three lifestyles - `Cameron', `Qing' and `Country'. `Cameron', which distils `colonial influences for contemporary contexts', comes in characteristic curved legs (either in ash veneer or cigar stain finishes), Italian wicker, microseude upholstery and leather detailing. Highlights: cocktail table, low platform queen bed, low entertainment unit and landscape mirror.
Qing (pronounced Ching), "inspired by the dynasty that ruled China for a long period', is defined by an ash veneer wenge (deep chocolate) finish, metal-tipped legs and handles, frosted glass insets with cross handles. Highlights: Yin platform queen bed, high bookcase, 9-drawer chest and Shangrila lamp.
The Country collection is characterised by sturdy and unpretentious design. The appeal of wood shows through in its rugged simplicity. Highlights: Melbourne storage bench, Geelong queen bed, Brisbane telephone bench and standing mirror with hanger.
Apart from these, sofas, bed suites, dining furniture, tables and chairs and accessories such as vases, linen, lamps and tableware can be bought.
